It also test a phytochemical screen determine percentage yield alkaloid, annuum L . was collected Karbala City, that approximately 24 hours to extract using Soxhlet apparatus with 400 ml Methanol Alcohol Solvent in 1000 Flask, evaporation by rotary 40C° for drying, storage at 4C° until use, indicate results Percentage oils extracted (3.8% 4.1%), showing high positive reaction used reagent, Alkaloid, Phenol, Glycoside, Flavonoid, Saponin tannin. While revealed tannin Phenol while negative results. The antifungal effects depended different concentration, extract’s inhibition zone measured 11.12 mm had 20 mg/ml concentration 40 12.34mm 80 13.65mm, 100 15.76 mm, 12.76 0.5 mg/ml, 0.1 14.75mm, 1 15.76, 2 18.65 Alkaloid’s 12.34 concentrations 14.13 those 5 mg/ml. 10 15.98mm, 15 20.12 mm. aim this is best (alcohol )

Antinociceptive effects of a chloroform extract and the alkaloid dicentrine isolated from fruits of Ocotea puberula.

The present work describes the chemical characterization of a chloroform fraction (CF) obtained from an extract of Ocotea puberula (Lauraceae) fruits, and preliminary antinociceptive analysis of CF and the alkaloid dicentrine, isolated from this fraction. CF (30-300 mg/kg, p. o.) caused dose-related inhibition of abdominal constrictions caused by acetic acid and also inhibited both phases of fo...

Differentiation of Candida dubliniensis from Candida albicans on rosemary extract agar and oregano extract agar.

Candida dubliniensis is a recently described pathogenic species which shares many phenotypic features with Candida albicans and therefore, may be misidentified in microbiological laboratories. Because molecular methods can be onerous and unfeasible in routine mycological laboratories with restricted budgets such as those in developing countries, phenotypic techniques have been encouraged in the...
